American serial murderer Nikko Allen Jenkins (born September 16, 1986) was found guilty of four murders he carried out in Omaha, Nebraska, in August 2013. A month after he was freed from jail after serving 10 and a half of the 18 years he was sentenced to for a carjacking he committed when he was 15 and for attacks committed while incarcerated, the killings took place. Jenkins said that the ancient serpent god Apophis had ordered him to carry out the crimes. In May 2017, he was given a death sentence after being found guilty of the four murders and judged fit to stand trial.

Murders and Crimes

On August 11, 2013, at around 5:01 a.m., a patrol officer at Spring Lake Park found two dead inside a white Ford pickup vehicle that was parked close to a public pool.  Juan Uribe-Pena and Jorge C. Cajiga-Ruiz were the two victims, who had been shot in the head and had their pockets turned inside out. They were persuaded to go meet two women so they could have sex.  Less than two weeks after his release from jail on July 30, a random double-murder marked the start of his murderous rampage.

 

The corpse of Curtis Bradford was discovered on August 19 at approximately 7 a.m. by a guy going home after working the night shift at a convenience shop. The body was discovered outside an unattached garage at 18th and Clark St. When investigators arrived, Bradford's back had been shot twice. Bradford and Jenkins had posed for a Facebook photo that was published the day before, it was later discovered.  Jenkins would only be familiar with Bradford as a victim.

Andrea Kruger, enkins' fourth and last victim, was found on August 21 at around 2:15 a.m. by a deputy sheriff responding to a complaint of gunfire. At 168th and Fort St., her body was discovered laying in the road with several 12-gauge shotgun wounds to her face, neck, and shoulder. After working a shift as a bartender close to 178th and Pacific St., Kruger was on his way home. At 1:47 in the morning, she was seen on surveillance video shutting the Deja Vu Lounge. Arrested

Jenkins was detained on August 30, 2013, on suspicion of making terroristic threats that were unconnected. Investigators obtained the picture of a female accomplice buying the characteristic ammunition (Brenneke Classic Magnum 12-gauge, sometimes known as "deer slugs") that had been used to carry out the killings on surveillance film at a nearby gun store by that point, adding to the mounting evidence against him. More video has been retrieved from cameras positioned along the path to Kruger's abandoned SUV. During a lengthy 8-hour questioning on the evening of September 3, Jenkins admitted to all four killings. Jenkins claimed to the police that the deeds were sacrifices to the ancient Egyptian god Apophis. After the confession, he was charged with four charges of murder.

 

Jenkins, who has tattoos of the ancient god's hieroglyphs covering his face. Correctional guards haven't remarked on Jenkins' self-multiplication or how he did it. Since his arrest in August 2013, Jenkins has slashed himself three times while in detention. At Nebraska State Penitentiary in Lincoln, the most recent laceration has prompted a significant security crackdown as staff members investigate Jenkins' motivation for self-inflicted injury. Jenkins was monitored every 15 minutes by a security stationed outside the prison, and there were cameras in his cell. Jenkin's cell door has also been covered with absorbent socks to prevent anything from being smuggled below, and he is no longer permitted to shave to prevent him from stealing razors.
