Who Is DIDO? Florian Cloud de Bounevialle O'Malley Armstrong, known professionally as Dido Born in 1971 December 25 In Kensington. London, England. She is an English singer , songwriter and musician who rose to international prominence in 1999 with her debut album, No Angel . Known for her soothing voice and unusual duets, she has collaborated with many renowned artists throughout the years to create beautiful music. Dido has sold an estimated 30 million records worldwide and won her several awards, including two Brit Awards : Best British Female and Best British Album , and the MTV Europe Music Award for Best New Act. After releasing No Angel in 1999, and after much time spent promoting the album, Dido broke up with her fiancé, entertainment lawyer Bob Page, after a seven-year relationship.
